In the early stages of Purple Rain Game Breeders existence we realised that, while we would place our main focus on breeding the “Big 3” – Sable, Buffalo and Roan, there was also an opportunity to get involved in the colour variant market and in 2011 started investing in quality animals with superior genetics:

• Golden Wildebeest
• Black Impala
• Heartwater Coffee Springbuck and
• White Flanked Impala
The breeding of these exceptional animals requires careful focus on superior bloodlines and nutritional health. Through careful DNA selection, bloodline purity and rotation of superior animals we maintain and continue to improve the genetic quality of these animals.
As game is susceptible to succumbing to these diseases; our ability to improve resistance makes it possible to comfortably relocate these high-quality animals to virtually anywhere in the country, with little risk of non-adaptation.
