Purple Rain Game Breeders is situated in the magnificent bushveld of the northern Limpopo province bordering the internationally acclaimed Madikwe Game Reserve. The operation is based on approximately 12000ha of bushveld farmland +- 15km south of the Derdepoort border post with Botswana. Vance Kershner, the owner, purchased the land approximately 10 years ago and converted what was then a cattle ranch into a game farm.

MADIKWE HILLHOUSE

Potential buyers and fellow game breeders are welcome to visit the Purple Rain Game Breeding Facility to view our various animals and breeding camps. We are situated only 3 hours from Johannesburg and Lanseria International Airport as well as being equipped with our own landing strip.

Join us for a day trip which will include a drive around the breeding camps or alternatively if you would prefer to stay over and enjoy this picturesque part of the African bushveld, we are able to accommodate you at our luxurious Madikwe Hillhouse Game Lodge, which is situated on the same property. 

Combining stylish décor with luxury and the warmth of hospitality and professionalism we extend to our breeding project, Madikwe Hillhouse is used as an exclusive bush retreat and is located within a short distance from our famous and magnificent garden - a hidden jewel providing an oasis of tranquillity and beauty amidst the arid African bushveld.
